VARIETAL: 100% Barbera

WINEMAKER: Piero and Federico Bussi  

VINEYARD: Continental climate with white calcareous, marl soils. Vines 60 years old. 

FARMING: Farmed organically; dry farmed; hand-harvested

WINEMAKING: Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts; no winemaking additives used; all movement done with gravity, no pipes or pumps; very lightly fined or filtered; sulfite levels 75 mg/L

AGINAG: 16 months in French oak barriques

TASTING NOTES: Deep purple red color. Rich aromas of soft fruit, cherry and caramel. Elegant and round in the mouth with gentle tannins.
