VINTAGE: 2014 was warmer growing season, leading to perfectly ripened Cabernet, earlier than usual. Summer weather was ideal, with cool fog in the morning, clearing to hot sunny skies in the early afternoon, followed by temperatures swiftly dropping after sunset. This created temperature swings of up to 50º F, ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon.

WINEMAKING: Traditional, with minimal interventions
AGING: 15 months in 70% new Saury French oak; 30% 1-year-old French oak
PRODUCTION: 730 cases
TASTING NOTES: Bright crimson color with shades of ruby and garnet on the rim. Cassis, blackberry, pomegranate and caramel aromas on a fragrant nose. Flavors of black cherry and ripe pomegranate, with a well balanced, medium body and fine tannins.
