VINEYARD: Bjornson and Zenith

SOIL: Shallow volcanic ("Nekia")

AGING: 18 months in French oak barrels (30% new).

TASTING NOTES: Dark fruit profile with good acidity and tannins. Black raspberry and cherry aromas, with notes of wet earth, slate and sweet spice.

PAIRINGS: Duck breast with pomegranate glaze, garlic and herb roasted pork tenderloin, and baked salmon.
