STYLE: 'Gemischter Satz' is a traditional style of Austrian wine, consists of up to 20 varieties of grapes, harvested and made into wine together.
VARIETALS: Muskat Ottonell, Sylvander, Neuburger, Traminer, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Frühroter Veltliner, Weißburgunder
VINEYARD: 1,000 ft. altitude; deep Loess soils; 15-30 year old vines
FARMING PRACTICES: Certified organic; dry farmed; rows seeded with clover, buckwheat & radish; no pesticides used (herbicide, fertilizer, additives, etc); only compost to fertilize; hand-harvested September 2016
VINIFICATION: Low intervention; vegan proteins used for filtration
TASTING NOTES: Aromas of ripe yellow fruits with floral notes. Full bodied, balanced and fresh.
