VARIETAL: 100% Malbec

WINEMAKER: Laureano Gomez

VINEYARD: Shallow alluvial soil with good drainage.

GROWING PRACTICES: Careful pruning to control sun exposure, maintaining fresh fruit flavors. Organically grown, dry farmed and hand harvested into small containers.

VINIFICATION: Cold, whole fruit maceration for 7 days. Extended contact with the skins. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Minimally fined or filtered. Sulfites ≤45 mg/L.

AGING: French oak

TASTING NOTES:  A deep red color, shading into violet. Aromas of plum, vanilla and spices. Full bodied and chewy in the mouth with flavors of ripe red fruit, with notes of vanilla and chocolate appearing. Very good structure with elegantly balanced tannins and a long finish.

PAIRINGS: Roasted vegetables, stews and red meats.
