VARIETALS: 40% Dolcetto, 30% Nebbiolo, 30% Barbera

WINEMAKER: Piero and Federico Bussi  

VINEYARD: Continental climate with white calcareous, marl soils. Vine ages range from 15-50 years old. 

FARMING: Farmed organically; dry farmed; hand-harvested

WINEMAKING: Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts; no winemaking additives used; all movement done with gravity, no pipes or pumps; very lightly fined or filtered; sulfite levels 60 mg/L

AGING: 6 months in French oak tonneau

TASTING NOTES: An elegant Piemont red. Ruby red color with purple reflections. Elegant aromas of fruit, with a round, full body offering notes of red fruit and spices.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or with appetizers, pasta, white and red meats and cheese
