We are happy to announce that two of our wines from the Valtostao winery - Legón Reserva 2012 and Legón Roble 2015 - have received 92 and 90 points, respectively, from Vinous! In his reviews, Raynolds described the Roble as "Lush, sweet and open-knit", while the Reserva offered "concentrated blackberry, cherry liqueur and spicecake flavors."
The Valtosatao vineyards enjoy some of the best conditions in Ribera de Duero - high altitudes (2,625-2,950), hot dry summers, and cold winters. The grapes are organically grown and yields are kept low with the vineyards dry farmed and the formation and maturation of the clusters carefully monitored.
