VINEYARD: Sobremoro (single vineyard); calcareous clay soil, ferrous, shallow and stony; 1,900 feet altitude

FARMING PRACTICES: Biodynamic (not certified); soil is not plowed

WINEMAKING: Traditional, with minimum intervention; spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts

AGING: 18 months in French oak barrels

TASTING NOTES: "Deep ruby. Intensely perfumed scents of cherry, potpourri and incense, with an intense mineral overtone. Juicy, focused and energetic, offering concentrated black raspberry and cherry compote flavors enlivened by zesty acidity and a peppery nuance.
