Winemaking has been passed down in our family for generations, going back to the 17th century. Our great-grandfather built the first stone press in the area, our grandfather was one of the first in Austria to bottle wine in bottles from the 1932 vintage. Three centuries of wine tradition are reflected in the quality and harmony of our wines.
Our winery is located in Poysdorf, in the middle of the Weinviertel hilly landscape. The vineyards are cultivated as sustainably and carefully as possible - through the use of natural vineyard greening, strict thinning, working each vine individually like in garden . The clay and loess soils, the long summer days and cool autumn nights give our grapes special, rich aromas. It is our goal to bring the taste of these grapes into the bottle for you.
We cultivate with passion 17 hectares of vineyards in some of the best locations in Poysdorf.
Our winery has been certified “Sustainable Austria” since 2020.
