ABOUT DE VECCI:
Our winery was created in 1958, our vineyards are located around San Giacomo, in the very north of Reggio Emilia, just a few miles south of the Po River.
The alluvial soils in our vineyards, with rocks and minerals, are particularly well-suited for growing Lambrusco grapes , contributing to the personality of our wines. We believe that wine must be made, first and foremost in the vineyard and we pay particular attention to traditional agricultural practices, aimed at respecting the environment, and capable of producing healthy grapes. Life here flows in contact with nature among vineyards and centuries-old trees. We grow only native varietals.
The harvest is done 100% by hand.
Winemaker Paolo Bertani looks for elegance through very fine bubbles, finesse and freshness. He believes that “work and time are the only ways to achieve quality”
