About LA CAVE DU PERE TIENNE
Agnès and Eric Panay started working in the estate in 1992. From the beginning they started minimizing treatments, and careful vineyard work was the main focus. They have been delighted to observe the new rich life of the soils and the return of biodiversity to the vineyard. The commitment towards French organic certification is the realization of this path.
Between the Saône and Grosne valleys, the estate spreads across the village of Chânes. The Chardonnay thrives on their vineyard’s clay-limestone soils and the work parcel by parcel to expres all the richness of their terroir in the wines.
