In the picturesque village of Unterloiben in the Wachau, Christina and her father Rainer were delighted to launch their new winery in the autumn of 2024. Over the past two decades, Rainer and Christina have gradually built up a total of 8 hectares of some of the best vineyards in the Kremstal such as the Pfaffenberg, the Kögl and the Weinzierlberg. All the vineyards are certified “Bio”.
Christina and Rainer work mainly with Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. "The steep vineyards in the Kremstal and in the Wachau, the barren terraces, the steep slopes, the dry conditions - our task is to bring those unique conditions into the bottle as pure as possible."
Christina is a graduate of the Klosterneuburg wine school and has spent her learning years mostly in Burgundy.
