STYLE: Aged aromatized, fortified wine
TASTING NOTES: A deep amber in the glass with a rich, spiced nose with layers of Mediterranean herbs – rosemary, sage, and licorice – and pleasant roasted chestnut aromas. Fresh in the palate, with complex flavors of herbs, caramel and walnuts, finishes with a gentle bitterness and spice.
WINEMAKING: Infused with 150 botanicals and aged for at least a year in neutral oak barrels under a solera system.
SERVING: Neat, on the rocks, or with soda, garnished with a twist or orange slice. Also delicious in cocktails.
