MAS DU VISTRE CHARDONNAY

LANGUEDOC ROUSSILLON

 

VARIETAL: 100% Chardonnay

FARMING: 100% Estate.

SOILS: Villafranchian pebbles and alluvial deposits.

WEATHER: Mediterranean climate.

HARVEST: Hand harvested in the second week of September in 40lb. boxes, transported to the winery to begin processing within 2 hours.

FERMENTATION: Low temperature fermentation at 57-61º F for 15 days. 

TASTING NOTES: Lush flavors of yellow peaches and candied apricot with butter brioche and butter caramel notes. Silky in the mouth with great balance and a long finish. 

FOOD PAIRINGS: Seafood, salads and cheese.
