IN THE VINEYARD:

APPELLATION: Rias Baixas

VINEYARDS: Val do Salnes

VARIETALS: Albariño 100%

FARMING: Sustainable.

PLOUGHING: The soil cover is maintained. Annual ploughing.

SOILS: Granitic 50%, clay 25% and sandy 25%.

CLIMATE: Atlantic with Continental influence.

VINES: +20 year old vines. Pergolas 70% Trellised Vines 30%

HARVEST: Entirely made by hand in small crates on the 2nd half of September.

IN THE CELLAR:

FERMENTATION: Small stainless steel tanks at low temperature.

TREATMENTS: No chaptalization and acidification at all. The idea is to stay natural as much as possible.

PRESSING: Traditional.

MALOLACTIC: Spontaneous, if any.

LEES: Approx. 4 months lees contact

OAK BARREL AGING: No.

FINING/ FILTRATION: The wine is allowed to settle naturally by gravity and is only slightly fined or filtered.

CHEMISTRY: Alc. 12.5%. 6 g/L Total Acidity.

WINEMAKER: Manuel Vazquez.

PHILOSOPHY: We believe that the best wines are born in the vineyard.

TASTING NOTES: A clean, bright wine. Golden yellow color with greenish hues. Floral nose with notes of apple, apricot and peach. Fresh palate with balanced acidity, structure and body.
