Domaine Denis Rose D'Anjou.
Founded in 1930 by Jules-Emile Denis, the Estate has spent 4 generations under the care of the Denis family.
The family’s motto is ‘quality and respect for life.’ As such, they not only pay close attention to the interplay between the soil and vine, but also to the care and maintenance of those soils. They are committed to both the short-term production of quality wines and the long-term health of the land. They avoid the use of chemical treatments and use environmentally friendly practices, such as grassing over the vine rows or working the soil, to avoid the use of weed killer. The results of this meticulous, year round care, are wines that are an excellent expression of the vineyards, vines and family who carefully tend them.

Dom Poland Premium Vodka receives 90 Points from Tasting Panel & Sommelier Journal.
Round and creamy, the zesty, peppered start dissipates to a refined mouthfeel. Licorice, vanilla, and a touch of earthiness follows. The finish is filled with a snappy smoky quality.

Tasting Panel gives 90 Points to Westerpark Vodka
Named for an historic park in Amsterdam, this vodka opens with warming scents of vanilla and an earthy minerality. It settles luxuriously on the palate with waves of white rice, black pepper and a sudden burst of spiced vanilla.
Tasting Panel gives 93 points to Opal Gin.
Produced just south of Barcelona, in Tarragona, for several generations of Jordi Montserrat’s family. The long list of botanicals are sourced locally from local Mediterranean growers. Orange blossom floats out of the glass and then sweetens on first sip. Juniper is present but subdued. This is such an expressive spirit, that one can picture the pastel colors of the flavors that rise up and shift across the mouth from beginning to finish: lavender, vanilla, and grapefruit zest among them. A charmer.

Our goal is to produce wines that respect tradition and the environment. The farming is organic and the rows are grassed over. We encourage biodiversity and the dynamic it brings to the viticulture. Our vineyards are located in and around Fuenmayor, in the heart of Rioja Alta. The mountains and continental climate offer perfect conditions for Tempranillo. The altitude of the vineyards is higher than in most of Rioja, resulting in wines of with good freshness.
The grapes are carefully hand harvested and the winery, spontaneous fermentation takes place with the native yeasts. No winemaking additives are used and the wines are very minimally fined or filtered. The resulting wines are traditional in style, with great balance. The concentration of the fruit comes from the hard work in and great care of the vineyards. Javier Pérez Ruiz de Vergara-Winemaker.
Opal Spanish Rare Dry Gin.
We are very proud to introduce Opal Dry Gin, a unique artisanal gin made in Tarragona, just south of Barcelona. For several generations Jordi Montserrat’s family has been distilling spirits along the beautiful Mediterranean Coast of Spain. Craftmanship is deeply rooted in the proud traditions of the region.
100% of the botanicals are sourced from families with whom we have been working for generations Mediterranean, including: Juniper, Coriander, Orange Blossom, Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit, Cardamom and Angelica.
Opal Gin is unique expression of what a Premium Small Batch Mediterranean Gin is meant to be, with citrus, spice and floral hints from the Mediterranean botanicals. The Mediterranean botanicals presence is noticeable but subtle, with their character and elegance enhancing the Gin's elegant smoothness and complexity.
Miro Daughters Naturalment Blanc and Serendipity Red now in stock!
We are very excited to have the Miro Daughters Naturalment Blanc and Serendipity Red now in stock.
Jordi Miro’s passion for wine started at an early age. As a child, he worked in his family’s vineyards alongside his father, Miguel Miro. There he learned to prune, plow, cultivate, and harvest. The family has been growing grapes in the region for generations - Jordi’s maternal grandfather had his own small winery, while his paternal grandfather, Jaume, was a renowned grafter in the region and an expert grower.
After having worked most of his life for other wineries, Jordi planted his own 5 Ha (12.5 acres) of vineyards in 1999. The vines lie within the Terres de l’Ebre Biosphere Reserve. The soils are calcareous and poor in organic matter. The vineyard is organically farmed with no irrigation and no chemicals are used (pesticides, fertilizer, additives, etc). The grapes are hand harvested and the average yield in the vineyard is less than 3 lbs per vine.
In 2009, Jordi began to construct his own small winery. He built it himself, brick by brick. Traditionally in Terra Alta, whites and reds were produced by extended skin contact. Jordi's wines combine traditional methods with a modern touch. He does spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, uses no winemaking additives and the wines are very minimally fined or filtered. Sulfite levels are below 60 mg/L.
Jordi still uses the lessons he learned from his father, doing all the work himself. He prunes, plows, thins the vines, harvests, ferments, rakes, cleans the vats and bottles the wine. Harvest starts with the first light of the day and is done by hand, into small cases. Jordi’s philosophy is to do as much as possible in the vineyard to create the wine there, and then just do minimal intervention in the winery.
Jordi's daughters Aida and Andrea are following now the family tradition with the release of these two new wines.
