Since 1793 we have been making wines that reflect tradition, a commitment to our land and a real love of vine growing and winemaking.
Our family farms twenty hectares of the best slopes in Wettolsheim and the surrounding villages, including the Steingrubler and Hengst Grand Crus.
Our family is committed to caring for their land. We believe that carefully tending to the vines is the surest path to excellent wines. The vineyards are dry farmed organically since 2008, without the use of any chemicals (pesticides, fertilizers, additive, etc), and grassed over. Biodynamic practices are followed.
Once in the winery, we allow the grapes to speak for themselves, "In our cellar you will find only minimal technical equipment. High quality grapes is all we need". The result of these efforts are wines of great finesse and power and well-balanced that reflect that conscientious, dedicated work of the family.
Wunsch et Mann offers you three grands crus: Steingrubler, Hengst and Pfersigberg.
