VINEYARD: Leza (55 year old vines). Calcareous soils with some clay.

VARIETAL: 85% Tempranillo 10% Graciano 5% Mazuelo. Hand harvested.

FARMING PRACTICES: Traditional, organic fertilizers. 

AGING: 18 months in American and French oak and 18 months in bottle.

TASTING NOTES: A red cherry color with fine complex ripe fruit aromas. On the palate it is elegant, full-bodied with a long finish. 

FOOD PAIRINGS: Shellfish, lamb or wild mushroom risotto
